Use of Shelf

Shelf helps you save podcast links, upload transcripts, generate notes, search saved content, and ask questions about your saved shelf. You may use the service only in a lawful and respectful way.

Your account

  • You are responsible for access to your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure.
  • You must provide accurate account information where required.
  • We may restrict or suspend access if the service is abused, attacked, or used unlawfully.

Your content

  • You remain responsible for the links, transcripts, text, and other content you upload or save.
  • You should only upload content you have the right to use.
  • You give Shelf the limited permission needed to store, process, summarize, embed, search, and display your content back to you.

AI outputs

AI-generated summaries, answers, and extracted metadata can be incomplete or wrong. Treat them as productivity aids, not professional advice. You are responsible for checking important information before relying on it.

Availability

Shelf is provided as a young product and may change, fail, or be unavailable from time to time. We try to keep failures clear and recoverable, especially for upload jobs, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Prohibited use

  • Do not use Shelf to process illegal, harmful, abusive, or privacy-invasive content.
  • Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or security controls.
  • Do not overload the service or use automation in a way that damages reliability for others.

Deletion

You may request account deletion and deletion of saved content. Some limited records may remain for a short time in backups, logs, or where retention is legally required.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes should be reflected on this page with a new update date.
